We believe that the Bible is the wholly inspired word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17), and that no person or organizations has the right to determine what is acceptable worship to God. (Gal. 1:6-9).
Man must believe in God and Christ. In order to do this, one must first hear the word of God (Heb. 11:6; John 8:24; Rom. 10:14-17). The faith that one must have is not a secretly held one, but one that is courageously confessed before men (Luke 12:8; Acts 8:37) and one that is acted upon openly (James 2:17).
One must then repent of their sins, and this they will do if they truly believe in God (Luke 13:3; Acts 17:30-31; 2 Cor . 7:8-10).
Jesus and the Holy Spirit command that man must be baptized for the remission of his sins (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 2:38; 22:16). The Bible depicts baptism as a burial, symbolizing Christ's burial and resurrection (Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12).
After one believes and confesses his faith in Christ, repents of his sins, and is baptized for the remission of sins, you are in Christ (Rom. 6:3-4; Gal. 3:27). By being 'in Christ' you are a new creature (2 Cor. 5:17) and therefore commanded by God to live a godly and righteous Life (Col. 3:1-3; II Pet. 1:1-11; Gal. 5:16-26).
Throughout your life as a Christian you will still encounter temptations. When God's child sins, he is commanded to repent of his sins, confess his sins, and pray for forgiveness (Acts 8:22; James 5:15-16; 1 John 1:9).
